Obama on gay adoption

yeah totally ruining this country what a horrible guy

Fun fact: Obama has attempted to fix almost everything that he promised to fix, but the republicans have voted almost all of his bills out of congress. He’s not the problem.

Real Christians aren’t assholes

In High School I had a friend who was super religious, her whole family was. Despite this, she was pro-marriage equality, pro-choice, and never once tried to convert me or make me feel bad about my own religious decisions (I was and still am an agnostic). She was always kind, and treated everyone with respect, regardless of race, religion, or orientation. For her the heart and soul of being a Christian was to love others and treat others with dignity. She was a real Christian.

REMINDER: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE JESUS AS AN EXCUSE TO BE AN ASSHOLE EVER. NEVER.

I’m a Christian and this is how the fucking religion works. Love. Not hate.

"why did she win the nobel peace prize???"

"she didn’t do anything to deserve the nobel peace prize"

fuck anybody who wasn’t overjoyed when she won, this girl is providing a voice for uneducated and oppressed young people across the world whilst still advocating and campaigning for peace and anti-violence. after she was shot in the head.

I love this girl, seriously. What a hero.

Hey Kelly, just saw the post about you not changing your name when you got married, and wondered: did you entertain the idea of changing your legal name but keeping KSD as your pen name? Like how Alyson Hannigan legally changed her name to Allison Denisof but kept the other for SAG. p.s. I think the 'DeFraction' thing is awesome.
firstofthfallen asked

kellysue:

No, I didn’t. I didn’t want to change my name. Not personally, not professionally.  It felt like being expected to change my bones.

I recognize and respect that not everyone feels that way, but that is my position.
